Father of Elbert John Sanford Harder:
SANFORD HARDER:
For 40 years a resident of this town and a prominent and successful farmer, died at his home on Bonny Hill last Saturday.
His death was from paralysis. He was 69 years of age. Born in Hamilton, Oneida County, he spent his boyhood there, but when a young man he went to Illinois, wehre he remained a short time, returning East to this town, where he has since resided. He is survived by his wife and three children, George Harder, of this town, Mrs. George Bellinger of West Creek, and Elbert Harder, of Utica. The funeral was held Tuesday and the remains were taken to West Henrietta near Rochester, for burial.
