If I'm not terribly wrong in my research, I think that John N. HARDER and Mary Perry/Peery had a daughter named Elizabeth who was born abt 1783 in Orange Co., NC. She married George CAMPBELL abt 1803, probably in NC. My 2nd great grandfather was--- HARDER CAMPBELL---. He and his family are in the 1850 census for Davidson Co. TN. I've worked on the Campbell line for many years and am stumped with this generation. Do you think there could possibly be a connection here? The timing, as well as the name, makes sense to me, but then I may just be grasping after straws. (I hope not!)
