Joel,
A much belated thank you for your information re: the origen of the Hardenbrooks in Germany. I'll pass it on to interested relatives. Funny thing, I lived in Germany in the early 60's & no one there thought the name was German. All the Dutch I met said it was Dutch. I appreciate the clarification.
