This evening I will begin my picture scans. I hope to have the picture that is supposed to be Serena Harbour to you by this evening. I am interested in some of the picture that you mentioned that have unidentified relatives. You mentioned the name Wood. My great great grandfather was Greer W. Wood. He was married to Mary Elizabeth Harbour. I have a picture that may be their wedding picture. Greer and Calloway went off to the war together. Unit of the 4th Texas, shows that a large number of soldier came down with typhoid fever shortly after their arrival in Virginia. Greer's muster cards specifically state that he was sick with typhoid. Calloway may also have had this illness. He was obviously on his way home when he was hospitilized in Monroe Louisiana. All that we can do is speculate on the circumstances.

I am very interested also in the pictures you described. I would bet that it is very likely that Greer and Mary might be in some of them. I will start sending you pictures tonight.

The smaller pictures I will scan at no more than 200 dpi, and the larger pictures I will scan at no more than 150 dpi. that will make them more suitable for photocopying.

Michael
