Hi, Annette,
It is not likely that your Sarah Harbin is the daughter of Nathaniel Harbin and Sarah Parks. Their children were born in the 1770s and 1780s and were grown men and women by the early years of the 1800s.
Nathaniel and Sarah's daughter Sarah (if they had a daughter Sarah because there is not any evidence that she existed except for family stories) probably married William Humphries of Pendleton District SC.William was a neighbor of Nathaniel Harbin in the early 1800s in Pendleton District.William and Sarah Humphries named a son Nathaniel Harbin Humphries. There is not much proof either way, but this Sarah would still be too old to be your ancestor.
It is possible that Nathaniel Harbin married again when he was very old and had your Sarah, after his other wife Sarah died, but then that child would not be a child of Sarah Parks. And there is no evidence that that happened.
By the date of her birth, your Sarah was probably a grandchild of the first Nathaniel Harbin. If it were me, I would look for her in the next generation of Harbins.
Charlene
