I am researching siblings Robert, Smith and Nancy Harbert born in Virginia between 1797 and 1811. They are the children of William Harbert. The family appears to have moved to Ohio sometime between 1811 and 1820. They were initially in Champaign County and by 1825 relocated to Madison County. Robert eventually moved to Indiana in the 1850s. There is a reference to a "William Harber" of Virginia in the 1883 history of Madison County Ohio. He apparently had a very large family. Any possibility your Israel is one of his children?
