Thomas Jefferson Haralson and Mary A Logan

I am the ggg granddaughter of Thomas Jefferson Haralson and Mary A Logan. My gg grandfather was Thomas Jefferson Haralson, Jr., who married Julia Caldwell, and I am descended from their son, Thomas Francis Haralson (married Toma Belle Pannell), through their daughter, Frances Ruth Haralson (married Albert Newton Cooley). My father is their only son.

I don't have much documentation to support the family tree that I have a copy of, as this lineage was given to me by a long-lost cousin of my father back in the late 1970s. She had traced our Haralson line back to Paul Harrelson/Rebekka Burgess.

My questions are these:
1. is there any truth to the family talk about Cherokee ancestors in this particular Haralson line? I was told that Thomas Jefferson II (Daddy Tom) was half-breed, which means that Mary Logan was full Cherokee, but I have no documentation and no one left to ask.

2. does anyone have information on these matrilineal lines: Logan, Caldwell or Pannell?

Thank you for any information you can provide.
