Gladys -- Wouldn't you agree that Dorothy was married to Thomas Noyes AFTER the death of her first husband Nicholas Blake? According to what I found, Thomas and Dorothy (_____) Blake Noyes had four children, beginning with Ann, chr. in 1588 and then Peter (the Sudbury testator of 1657), who was chr. 30 Aug 1590 at Andover. Thus, Peter Noyes would have been the younger stepbrother of Mary (Blake) Scullard. And Mary's daughter Joane (Scullard) Hapgood would have been Peter Noyes' stepniece.

Do you happen to have the title of the Smith & Sanborn book?
