I have a William Hanson b. 1732, possibly in Dover, NH who married Mehitable Wingate and they were still living in Dover about 1769. Their children were: William (went to sea and was never heard from again), Betsy (married Drew Enoch), Sarah (never married), and Mehitable (married Moses Ham and then James Libbey).

I'm not sure what happened to this Wingate family after 1769. Were they possibly among the group of Hanson families who went to Quebec in the 1790's?

I do know that Moses and Mehitable Ham moved to Danville, VT about 1814.
