Looking for information about my great grandparents Annie M. Nielsen Hansen and Louis Peter Christian Hansen.
This is all of the information I've been able to find:
On the 1920 Census, Louis and Annie are both listed although Louis' name is recorded as Lewis (born about 1870). Lewis' brother Alfred who was two years younger (born about 1872 in Denmark) lived with the family. At that time they lived in Drammen, Lincoln County, MN. This census states that Lewis was born in Denmark and Annie in Wisconsin. They had 8 children at that time; Virgil, Ethel, Ella, George, Pearl, Louis, John and Annie.
On the 1930 Census in Lake Benton, MN
Annie (who was a widow) with children Ethel, Ella, George, Pearl, Louis P., John H., Annie B., Orville W. (born about 1921), and Viola M. Hansen. All children were born in MN except Annie B. who was born in South Dakota.
Annie's full name was Annie Margret Hansen and she died in Lincoln County MN on 11/56/1953.
Louis (or Lewis) died some time between 1920 and 1930. He emigrated to the U.S. about 1880 and was naturalized in about 1895.
Any information would be greatly appreciated.
