Jerica,

My Andrew Hansen was born near Sioux City, Iowa in 1850...returned with his parents, (whose names I have never known)to Denmark a year or so later. He returned to Iowa in 1864/65 supposidly alone. He did tell his children that he had a brother, Walter, whom died in a farming accident at some point in time, probably before the 1900s. I know that your Andrew Hansen is not the same Andrew Hansen as my, but I suppose there could be some sort of connection through Walter. I don't even know if Walter was older or younger than Andrew. Andrew didn't leave much information about himself of his family.

Dick Jenkins
