In 1891 Niel’s and Maren’s daughter Thomine Marie Hansen emigrated with the Jokumsen aka Jacobsen family from Torslev, Dronninglund, Hjorring to the USA Rudyard, Chippewa Co.,Michigan.Over the years many members of both families immigrated to Rudyard, Michigan. Many of the Hansens married Jokumsens then Jacobsens. My Grandfather who is Jens Larsen aka Henry Hansen emigrated with his thought to be brother Soren Emanuel Hansen about 1902.The other children who immigrated to Rudyard are Jensine Marie and Maren Katrine Hansen. The other children remained in Denmark and I hope to find them.
