George, please contact me by e-mail asap re: Samuel Hanselman and Mary Jane Speers. Sounds as if these are my maternal great grandparents! I don't have additional information on either Samuel or Mary Jane, other than this: I have reason to believe Mary Jane Speers was Cherokee Indian according to conversations with my Mother and I researched the Dawes Rolls (The Trail of Tears) and found an Indian Roll Number for a Mary Jane Speers therein. (This is the first time I have seen Hanselman on the familytreemaker - this side of the family has been hard to research. e-mail: justanz@inreach.com) Also, Mother told me she had an Uncle Jake, but she said she was very small when these people came to visit them in Roff, OK in the early 1900's and didn't know much about them or where they were from.
