In looking at the copies of the land petitions.. I have more information - on the 1827 petition it said that John Hanrahan was 37 - making him born in 1790, at that time he was married with 6 children - Henry was born in 1792and showed married with 3 children and William was born in 1781... no trace of him until 1809 in Massachusetts where he married and had 8 children.
