Looking for info on Civil War veteran 2nd Lt. Ramsey Hannagan [sic], who served in Company C of the 87th Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry. The regiment mustered in York in September 1861. Hannagan, a rare Irishman in a German regiment, was from Springfield Township, York County, and was among the tallest men in the regiment. He died August 21, 1873.
