My grandparents came from County Cork, but do not know when.Grandfather was Frank Hannigan, wife was Mary. They settled in New York state, near Newburgh/Marlboro area.He was a horse care taker. Many of the Irish immigrants worked in the nearby JOVA Brickyard in Roseton, NY, a tiny hamlet just north of Newburgh.Unfortunately, I know little else.My father was born to them in 1900, and is now deceased. He lived in the area all his life, marrying a Margaret Dohrman from Highland, NY.... abut half hour away.
