Sir Robert Hannay and Captain Andrew Adair are mentioned in the History of Sligo.
In 1641 Sir Robert Hannay held the Castle of Belleek for some time, but was captured.
Capt. Andrew Adair, and Sir Robert Hannay and his family were spared for the purpose of exchange and ransom.
Capt. Andrew Adair was to pass saffe from Beleek in County of Mayo, Ireland to Bellishanan, co. Downegall (Donegal, Ireland).

About 1660 my Capt. Andrew Adair was granted land in St. Johnstown, co. Longford, Ireland.
