I don't think I can be much more help in your search. I'm not sure that 'Fillis' would be a shortening of Philippa, Phyllis might be more likely, but you never know! I do have a note of a Phyllis Hannant having a son James in 1779.
I don't know if you know that Dilham and Smallburgh are adjacent parishes and especially with big famillies like the Hannants there is likely to be quite a bit of mingling.
I think it is very likely that John & Fillis had moved to Dilham as their children are in the Dilham registers. 'Leddy' 1754, Eliz.1760, Easget 1761. There is also an entry for a son of John who died in 1757. I don't have his name. It is all very fascinating . Good luck. Best wishes. Janet
