Roma,
I think most of the Hannah families of eastern TN 1780s (Washington and Greene counties) connect to the Woods, Carson and Strain families that came to that same area. Most of these came from Lancaster PA. Around 1760, Moses Carson married Elizabeth Hannah (daughter of Andrew) in Lancaster PA. They moved to Orange NC 1773 then to Washington TN c1781-83. Some of the Hannah and Woods from Lancaster moved to Guilford NC 1770s., then some moved to Washington TN also. Names in Guilford NC were Joshua Hanna (land entry 1779), Andrew Hannah (1778), Roddy Hannah (1779) along with John Strain who is related to the Woods/Hannahs. In Washington TN 1787 were William, John, and Andrew Hannah. An Andrew Hannah married Jane Davis 1788 in Washington TN. Andrew Carson married Elizabeth Hannah (who is probably related to her mother in law).
Your Sarah is probably a daughter of one of these Hannahs. You might want to check the Woods, Carson and Strain message boards also. There were several connections.
