Robert Mitchell / Harriet Hannaford - Cincinnati, OH

Looking for information on Robert Mitchell, founder of the Robert Mitchell Furniture Company of Cincinnati OH, and his wife, Harriet Hannaford. I have a reference that he was born about 1824 in Ohio, but I'm not certain how reliable that is. I have no information on either his parents or those of his wife.

Robert had one son that I am certain of, although I have to suspect there were other children. That son was Richard Hannaford Mitchell, born 1 Mar 1850 in Cincinnati, and died there 6 Jan 1925. Richard took over his father's furniture business. He married Mary Lucia Lincoln, the daughter of Timothy Danielson Lincoln and Mary Snelling Clarke. Richard and Mary had a very large family of twelve children: 1. Mary Mitchell (b. abt 1873); 2. Robert Mitchell (b. & d. 1874); 3. Charlotte Seymour Mitchell (1875-1949); 4. Richard Mitchell (1875-1924); 5. Paul Lincoln Mitchell (1879-1962); 6. William Ledyard Mitchell (1881-1964); 7. Mark Lincoln Mitchell (1883-1965); 8. Mary Monica Mitchell (1885-1973); 9. Mary Francis Angela Mitchell (1887-1975); 10. John Ledyard Mitchell (1890-1971); 11. Mary Margaret Mitchell (1892-1972); 12. Francis Hannaford Mitchell (1897-1945).

Any information on where Robert and Harriet came from, and who their parents were would be greatly appreciated.
