Hannafords of Stokenham

I am trying to find information on Richard Hannaford, he was born in Stokenham in about 1840 and in 1861 he married Fanny Powlesland in East Portlemouth, Devon. I believe he had a son called James, born in about 1862.
Fanny's father was called James, a Blacksmith but I don't know anything about Richard's parents.
