Thanks so much for your prompt response to my posting. Sorry I didn't write back sooner but this was my first opportunity.
It was wonderful to get the names of Hugh Hanna's children, & also those of his parents & grandfather. However, looking back over the Hanna postings several years ago, there was one dated 10/22/00 saying that Mary Charles Hanna (who married James Wrightman) was also Hugh Hanna's daughter. This name was not mentioned by you, & doesn't jive with something else I read saying he had 4 daughters & 2 sons.Had you heard this name anywhere? Another message dated the same day was from a lady who said she descended from Jane Hanna Kennedy, Hugh's sister.
So, another possible sibling of Hugh, Catherine & Dr. William.
I wish I could give you more information on my great grandmother, Catherine, but unfortunately I don't even know her husband's 1st name. The last name was Clements & they lived in Glasgow, Scotland where they raised 2 sons...my grandfather Andrew, & his brother Finley. Andrew was born March 31, 1863 & died in Toronto March 20, 1934. He was a watchmaker by trade & later worked in Belfast where he married my grandmother. They had 4 children & settled in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. I doubt that any of that history would mean much to you, but if you'd like more information on that branch I'd be happy to supply it.
