I was interested in the topic Hanns from Dorset to Australia. My husband is a descendant of Sylvanus William Hann son of Henry Hann married to Kerziah. Henry is your Emmanuel's brother, Jenny. Maybe you, Eddie or others can help out with a couple of problems.
1. Henry's father was John Hann married to Rachel Bugler and/or Rachel Ragless. Debate seems to be that they may be 2 different Rachels or one in the same. I have the marriage entry for Rachel Bugler to John but not for Rachel Ragless.
2 Who are this John's parents- one line of thought is that it is Abraham and Ann Lovell. Another researcher says it is not them as they are from Montacute and our John was born in Preston Plucknett and his parents were John Hann born c1768 and married to Hester (or Esther). Both John and Hester are buried in St James, Preston Plucknett.

Help I am getting very confused.
