Susan,
I do know that my great-grandfather was Patrick J Hanley and he married a woman named Mary, possiblyCalanagan. They had eight children of which my grandmother was the seventh. She had a younger brother named Francis. Both of my great-grandparents were from Ireland. They lived in St Louis, according to my grandmother, they were married in the "Old St Louis Cathedral" and lived the rest of their lives there. My grandmother and her siblings were all born and raised in St Louis. That is as far as I have gotten. The children of my great-grandparents were Joseph, Catherine, William, Anna, John, Agnes, Alice (my grandmother) and Francis. My grandmother was the last one of her siblings to pass on, in August 2001.Most of her siblings died while in their 40s, like their parents. Her brother Francis lived to his mid-fifties, as did Anna. That is as far I am at the moment.I would need to go to St Louis to get further then I am.Even my mother was born there, and married there, although my brother and sister and I were not.My mother and her sister are not into genealogy and so I will eventually take a trip to St Louis to get the rest of the info.It would be interesting if we were related.Do you live in Missouri?I live in Montana at the moment.Let me know what you think.
