Am searching for ancestor Sarah Hanks b. abt. 1760, d. abt 1828. She was married to William Gatlin in 1780. She was born in N.C. They moved to Giles Co., Tenn.They had 4 boys and 4 girls: Hardy, Alfred, William,Jr., Thomas Hanks, Holland West, Sarah, Sidney, Louise. Sarah Hanks may have been a sister of Nancy Hanks, the mother of Abraham Lincoln. Would appreciate any information you have.
