I was so caught up with Luke Sr. in that county it never occurred to me this could be the son of Abraham. I only have a few records of Luke Jr. prior to his migration to Kentucky.

The 1800 tax lists of Halifax shows Luke Hanks 1 free poll. 1802 Halifax Co. NC tax has Luke Hanks 1 free poll, cripple thigh broke. On 13 Mar 1807 Luke Hanks witnessed a deed in Halifax Co. NC.
