William county in 1788 was the son of Abraham Hanks and the nephew of Luke Hanks of SC,Abraham Hanks died in Pr. William county in 1785,his son Luke moved to NC in 1790.You may be right about Luke Hanks first wife Elizabeth being a Dale instead of his second wife Sarah,I believe his wife Elizabeth was the daughter of Abraham Dale who was the father of the Robert Dale who gave Luke Hanks 160 acres in Pr. William county,this would mean Abraham Hanks was named after his grandfather Abraham Dale. Notify Administrator about this message?
