I am looking for information about Margaret Hanks who married ____ Buck; they were parents of James W. Buck (Birth: 1782 in Amelia County, Virginia Death: 1854 in Nashville Tennessee)who married in 1806 in Virginia; Mary W. Williams (Birth: 1792 in Amelia County, Virginia Death: 1854 in Nashville, Tennessee). Family tradition has it that Margaret Hanks was a cousin to Nancy Hanks, mother of Abraham Lincoln. Hoping any info might lead to more substantial knowledge re: James W. Buck's father. James and Mary moved to TN shortly after their marriage, but we have no indication that his parents left VA.
