Louisa R. Hanks, (daughter of Stephen Hanks) married William H. Clem. William committed sucide in 1860. Found her in the 1860 Clay Co.,Ga Census with children Stephen, Taylor and Martha. The one that I am interested in is Taylor. He was born in 1848. I think he may have changed his surname. Maybe took his Mother's maiden name (Hanks). I also think his full name was "William Taylor Clem" hence "William Taylor Hanks". Any info on this family would be greatly appreciated.
