November 23, 1852
Page 6:
The Trinity Advocate states that Mr. George W. Hanks, of
Anderson County, was killed on the 25th ult., while
returning from a camp meeting, by his horse kicking him and
dragging the carriage in which he was riding, over his body.
Mrs. Hanks, the wife of the deceased, was with him, and was
severely injured.
