I am still looking for parents for my George Washington Hanks.
I believe he is the grandson of the Thomas Hanks, b 1740 to 1750, in VA who is listed on the 1830 census of Limestone Co., AL along with Gaden P. Hanks.
My George W. Hanks and Gaden P. Hanks B 1800, are on the 1850 census of Panola Co., MS
Would anyone have anything to share on this Thomas Hanks? He may have married Mahalia Petty.
