Would like to know if anyone has information about DANIEL WALKER of Charlotte Co., VA who pur land in Campbell Co., VA on Hatt Creek from JAMES HANKS in 1787. How were these two connected?

I am searching for the ancestry of Zadock HANKS Walker who may be related to Daniel Walker. Zadock Hanks Walker b ca 1798 in or near Richmond, VA. Family tradition says he was born a HANKS but took his stepfather's WALKER surname.

Zadock Hanks Walker's parents were William Walker b ca 1772 VA and Elizabeth --?--. Zadock had brothers:

James Hanks Walker b 1800
William Jackson Walker b 1803
Thomas Hanks Walker b 1812
