Hello there just for the fun of it I looked up Carol Haney's name on yahho andIi came up with Felix Ungers page. I was pleasantly surprised to find anything on her at all. She is one of my favorite dancers and choreographers of all time. I myself have just found out that she was originally from New Bedford MA. In her earlier years she was in Jack Cole's Dance company with fellow Broadway great Gwen Verdon. She went on to choreograph many television specials and the Braodway show "She Loves Me" Two of her most brilliant works which are her least know are two dances peices that I think she choreographed for certain variety shows like Ed Sullivan in the 50's. One is a trio called "Satin Doll" music by Duke Ellington. This is my all time favorite dance peice ever.It is a quintissential example "jazz" dance. Simply incredible. The second is called "For Me And My Gal" danced by a man and woman. Originally it was danced by Carol herself and fellow braodway dancer Buzz Miller. Another masterpeice. I wish I had more info to give you. If you hear of anything else please let me know. It would be nice to hear form both of you to find out your interest in her to begin.
