You can look at Nettie's 1949 Ohio death certificate for free at: http://search.labs.familysearch.org/recordsearch/start.html?datestamp=1195390820093#p=collectionDetails;c=1307272http://search.labs.familysearch.org/recordsearch/start.html?datestamp=1195390820093#p=collectionDetails;c=1307272
It shows her parents as John Hanny and Harriet Oswalt. She was born June 2, 1875 in Maxime, OH. This database also has the DC's for two of their other children. The DC for Harriet 1849-1911 is in there too. It shows her parents as Jacob Osmalt and Catherine Waggoner. I could not find John's DC.
The 1880 census shows Nettie 5 as the daughter of John and Harriet Haney living in Washington Twp., Stark County, OH. Coincidently they are living next door to Jacob and Catherine Oswalt. Here is some people working on Jacob Oswalt's family: http://wc.rootsweb.ancestry.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?op=Search&includedb=&lang=en&ti=&surname=oswalt&stype=Exact&given=jacob&bplace=&byear=1797&brange=1&dplace=&dyear=&drange=0&mplace=&myear=&mrange=0&father=&mother=&spouse=cath*&skipdb=&period=All&submit.x=Searchhttp://wc.rootsweb.ancestry.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?op=Search&includedb=&lang=en&ti=&surname=oswalt&stype=Exact&given=jacob&bplace=&byear=1797&brange=1&dplace=&dyear=&drange=0&mplace=&myear=&mrange=0&father=&mother=&spouse=cath*&skipdb=&period=All&submit.x=Search
The 1900 census shows John E. Haney, born March 1843 in Switzerland and wife Harriet J., born March 1849 living in Stark County. It indicates John immigrated in 1853.
The 1910 census shows this couple as Harry Haney and Henrietta.
The Ohio DC database only goes to 1954. You'll probably have to check with the Ohio Department of Health about getting his DC. His obit might also indicate who his siblings were.
George Oliver Hively's WWI draft card shows he was born May 22, 1873.
The 1900 census shows George and Nettie indexed under the name of Hinly.
They are in the 1920 census under the spelling of Hiviley.
They are in the 1930 census under the spelling of Hiveley.
I would say the chances are great that Oliver 7, son of Eli Hively from the 1880 census you found is the same as your George Oliver Hively, but I suggest finding more info before making that leap.
In the above database of Ohio death certificates you will find Eli's DC as well as the DC's for at least three of their children. They show the mother's name was Elizabeth Ann Barnes. Eli's father is listed as George which you'll find matches what is in the census for Stark County.
