Michael C. Hardy 2/11/08
He made his application on the 24th of May 1901 stating that he in the 37th(col. JNO. DUNN) regiment of calvary and that he was honorably discharged in May 1865.
Then there was evidence from a physician.
Next itm states as follows;
state of ARKANSAS county of CRAWFORD sitting as a pension board state that he was a confederate soldier and he should be allowed a $40.00 pension.
There is also an affadavit from NATHAN HANES and JEB PARKSstating that he was a confederate soldier, company f, 37th battalion Virginia calvery. 10th june 1901.
My understandin is that there was no NC unit so the nc unit was attached to the virginia outfit.
Hope this is sufficient info.
