I have been researching the Handford's for some time now. Robert Handford was born in Uffculme, Devon, son of James and Mary. James remarried when Mary died. His second wife was also called Mary. (this was in Bristol.)They moved to Bristol and Robert married Eliza Scriffin, he died in 1856 of insanity. Eliza remarried to Edward Herridge in 1869.
James died in 1843. My father is a Handford, so I am interested in any information please.
