I am looking for family information on Frank(Francis)Hand born about 1876, Dublin, Ireland. Lived in St. Helen, Lancashire, England till 1913. He came to the states and lived in Divernon, Sanganon County, Illinois.
He was married to Jemima Sutherland (Jemima was from Scotland)and their children were Kate, Frank, Patrick, James, John, Margaret, Joseph and Lizabeth. Kate was the first to come to the states, followed by her brother Frank Jr., then James, then her father Frank and then the Jemima came over with Joseph and Margaret. John was listed as a relative in England on Jemima's passenger list. I am trying to find any family connections for Frank Sr. parents, brothers or sisters and any connections for his children.
Kate Hand married Peter Sherlock.
Patrick Hand was in the British Army and by his papers was married to Annie Cecilia Hand (no maiden name)while he was in service. I do not find any papers that they came to the states after he left the British Army.
