I am looking for a connection with Archelaus Hancock born c1809 Stoke, Derbyshire. He married a Martha Dungworth born c1810 Sheffield. They married 25 April 1830 Sheffield.
Archelaus is noted as a confectioner and baker in the census. I know there is another Archelaus Hancock born about the same time but of Stoney Middleton with wife Mary. Stoke is not far from Stoney Middleton and Grindleford and I believe this is the parish of Eyam. I am wondering if there is a family connection somewhere with the two Archelaus Hancocks but cannot find where at present. I have a full seperate family line going back to the 1600's with the Hancocks of Eyam. I would dearly love to know the parents of Archelaus of Sheffield.
Does anyone have any connection at all with the above or if anyone can help with any information with regards to Archelaus, I would be more than grateful.
