Looking for information about Effie Ellen Hancock who was married in 1944 to Benjamin W. Cox in Pinellas County, Florida. Apparently the marriage didn't last as I've found a divorce record for Effie Ellen H. Cox and Benjamin W. Cox in 1944 in Marion County, Florida.
I believe this may be one of the several marriages of my uncle, Benjamin Wood Cox. We know that he lived in Florida off and on for a number of years although he was born in Kentucky. He died in Largo FL in 1967 at age 78.
Any information would be greatly appreciated.
