ELizbaeth Handcock (sic) married 1-23-1809. Craven Co., NC, John Franklin [could she be Betsey Franklin, daughter of JAMES?]
Mary Hancock married 7-3-1816, Orange Co., NC, Mastin (sic) Crutcher [was he the witness to JAMES' will?]
Since WESLEY HANCOCK (b. 1787, NC) married ca. 1815, Mary Lee and moved from NC to WIlson Co., TN, about 1816...could this move have been prompted by the death of JAMES in 1816, if he were indeed the father of WESLEY and ELI F. HANCOCK?
