He named his wife, NANCY; daughters Susannah, Polly W., and Betsey; sons WESLEY HANCOCK "my big Bible"; FLETCHER HANCOCK, "my small Bible," ROGER could have been the son of the JAMES HANCOCK who made is will in 1816 and proved May Ct 1816, Orange Co., NC. He named his wife, CLARISSA; sons, William and James, each $1; children of deceased son, Stephen, $1 each; daughter Betsey Franklin; sons Robert, Nathan, ROGER; daughter, Polly; 2 youngest children sons Stanley and John Hancock. Extrs, wife, Clarissa, and son, Nathan Hancock. Nathan Hancock made his will 4-11-1816, proved May Ct 1816.
