Well Earl it is a small world. I have some personal knowledge of this family as John Alexander Peeler owned the adjacent farm to my great grandfather Holland and one farm over from my grandfather Hamrick. These farms were on the Old Caroleen Rd. in Forest City. Some of the Peeler descendants still live on part of the farm today.Adelaid Peeler ran a store on the property back in the late 30's. I remember going there for pop.

Vernie is not of my Hamrick line but I have looked her up in the data I have and her line is as follows:

1- Vernie Hamrick
2- Caleb Eliza and Viola Robbins Hamrick
3- Elizah and Nancy Catherine Bridige Hamrick
4- William and Jane McSwain Hamrick
5- Elizah M. and Mary Margaret McSwain Hamrick
6- Samuel and Mary Hamrick (Our common ancestor)

Robert Adelaid Peeler married a Hamrick but I do not remember her name. I think they were first cousins.

I will be happy to share some personal knowledge about the family if you will email me direct.
