Recent DNA Evidence has shown the Hamrick's in the US are closely related to the Hansberry-Henberry family in Ireland.
The earliest member of the family found is John Hansberry born before 1800 in Roscommon County, Ireland. Patrick Hamrick immegrant b 1684 in Ireland and John Hansberry should have a common ancestor.
