My grandmother's name was Nellie Bly Gilbert, Married Thoma Hamrick in the late teens. I know they hail from Shelby
Ive found a Hamrick in the revolutionary war (NC Battalion? Was a payroll record.

The only thing Ive been able to verify is a long line of alcoholism right up to present day. Aside from that..does anyone have a family tree?
Oh. There was rumoured to be a comprehensive bible in the hands of Grady Hamrick whose wife was named Mississippi
