Patricia - thank you so much for answering. We are so interested in finding how, or if, one of the Andrews fits into our family. George Washington was born circa 1802 in Burke County, NC. We first find him at age 24 when he married Mary Ann Blythe. They raised eleven children in Cherokee County, NC. He owned land, showing deeds in 1853 of 320 acres and 168 acres in Cherokee County. He was one of the first settlers in Cherokee County, according to his death notice in the paper. He died in 1889 in Cherokee and is buried in the Cemetery at "Little Brasstown Church" of which he was a member. His will was proven 17 December 1889 in Murphy, N. C. I have a little more information on Mary Ann Blythe (said to be part Cherokee) and her brother James if this is of interest to you.

Again, thank you, and I would appreciate any information you have on this family.
