HELLO!
I am trying to trace my husband's history and this is what I have thus far: Stuart Hall Hampton, Jr. (my husband); Stuart Hall Hampton (11/11/27); Admiral Samson Hampton;
Henry Tillman Hampton (1899); Benjamin Hampton (1847); Reason Hampton (1803)married to Margaret Hampton (1810).
I am having trouble with finding finding information on Reason (his father's/mother's name). Reason obtained land through the Georgia land lottory. I believe he might have orginally come from South Carolina but cannot prove that. His wife, Margaret did come from South Carolina. Any help that you can give in helping me find information on Reason Hampton would be greatly appreciated.
