It's been several years since I last checked, so I'm hoping someone may have found more on my great grandparents, and we can swap info. I'm looking for anything, hopefully proof of the parents for Cap (Captain, a name, not a rank) Lancaster Hampton, b Oct 1, 1876 in Elizabethtown, Hardin Co. KY, married April 29, 1897 to Clint Hill in Jellico, TN. They had six children, my grandmother, Mattie Maude Hampton, and Lena, Edward, Fred, Maurice and Allie.
