I am seeking info on William Hampton born 1800 in VA whose wife was Elizabeth born 1806 in GA. They had children: Riley born 1825 in TN married Narcissa, Thomas H. born 1827 in TN who married Alminta Thompson, John A. E. born 1833 in TN who married Elizabeth Trotter, Francis Marion born 1835 in TN and married Emeline Norcott, Martha born 1838 in TN and married a Daniel, Nancy Catherine born 1843 in Tishomingo, MS and married Josiah Trotter, Rachel born 1847 in MS and married Joel Jacob Griffin, Eliza A. bonr 1849 in MS and married a Smith. Had a son nmaed William H. Smith born 1859. The above Riley Hampton was my 2nd great-grandfather. His daughter Emily C. Hampton married my great-grandfather William H. Carter in Crockett County, TN in 1878. I would like to know the parents of this William Hampton born 1800 in VA or any other info about the Hamptons and their spouses.
