I'm very pleased to hear from you. Excuse my ignorance but does MA stand for the state of Massachusetts?
If so, that is the last I heard of Florence's whereabouts.
You've already seen my prior postings and you'll know that I'm the grandaughter of Minnie Hampson, who was born approx. 2 years after Florence in Stretford Lancs.
If your wife has any photos of Florence I would be very keen to see them. My mother was told by Minnie that she bears a likeness to Florence. I get the impression that Florence may have been called Florrie whilst a youngster in Stretford??
If you would like a copy, I do have a couple of photos of James & Mary Hampson who are the parents of Florence and Minnie. I also have a couple of Minnie if your wife is interested.
