Hi Maxine, Great to hear from you as well. Yep I had the problem with Jonathan's parents because I have only had access to the LDS site and the 1841-1901 British census and the information was not very clear although it turns out I had the right names. Thank you for clearing that one up. I am at the moment working on 8 different trees relating to myself and my partner, and in fact fell over your message after finding a cousin on the Genealogy site from another side of my family (the Stenhouses to whom May Ann Hampson married into in 1921). My Mother is Doreen Mary Stenhouse who was the third child of May Anne Stenhouse (Hampson) born in Stretford in 1927. She says that Minnie and her sister Florrie went to the USA presumably in the late Teens or early Twenties of the last century. We do not know the circumstances of why they ended up in America, my mother says they went and were not heard of after that. She says she thought that Minnie had four children but can't remember how she knows that. She sends her regards to you and your family from a second cousin?? I do have some photographs of James and Mary Hampson and also some of their children including I believe Minnie. These were taken around 1902 ???? I believe. Regards Chris Vickers Notify Administrator about this message?
